Box Truck Driver - $20-24/hr - Med Card Req.

Non-CDL Driver w/MedCard | $20-$24 /Hr | Mechanicsville, VA

TransForce is seeking a non-CDL Local Route Driver to support local operations based in Mechanicsville, VA. Driver must have a valid Medcard to qualify for this position.

Job Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday- 6 am start, 8/10 hr shift 
• Pay: $20-$24 depending on experience 
• Duties: Delivering insulation products to job sites and customers' warehouses throughout VA.
• Touch Freight, must be able to lift 75lbs. Most loads are palletized, and an electric pallet jack will be provided. Truck has a lift gate
• Freight / Load Type: Insulation Supplies
• Equipment: Box Truck with lift gate

 Minimum Requirements:  

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Boxtruck 
• Strong disposition for positive customer service, strong verbal communication skills 
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 
• Medcard

 
Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate equipment
• Communication with the public
• Completion of all paperwork, reports, and other documentation
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
