About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL A or CDL B drivers for a local yard switching position in Montgomery, Alabama. This on-site role offers consistent work, home daily, and no-touch drop-and-hook operations using automatic-transmission yard trucks and 53-foot dry van equipment.

Pay & Schedule

• $22 per hour
• Estimated gross pay up to $1,500 per week
• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, with possible weekend shifts
• 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Local work with home daily
• Temp-to-perm employment opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform yard switching operations using a yard truck.
• Move 53-foot dry van trailers throughout the yard.
• Complete no-touch drop-and-hook movements safely and efficiently.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and operating requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A or CDL B.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Experience operating an automatic-transmission vehicle.
• Experience operating yard trucks and handling 53-foot dry van equipment.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
