Local CDL A Truck Driver | Average $1,100 to $1,500 per week | Columbus, OH
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations based in Columbus, OH. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Truck Driver Details
- Schedule: Day shift - 3am to 5am start, home daily
- Pay: Average $1,100 - $1,500/week
- Route Type: Local - home daily
- Freight / Load Type: Clothing & other merchandise
- Handling: Touch - pulling pallets off with pallet jack & restacking product on pallets at times
CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 2 years of recent and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport merchandise in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
