CDL A Delivery Driver - $30 per hour - light touch

CDL-A Local Driver – Richmond, VA

TransForce is seeking two CDL-A Drivers to support local transportation operations based in Richmond, VA.

Temp-to-Hire: This position offers consistent, full-time work with the possibility of becoming a permanent opportunity in the future.

CDL-A Driver Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM

• Pay: $30 per hour

• Overtime: Potential weekend overtime

• Drivers Needed: 2

• Route Type: Local

• Average Stops: Approximately 7 per day

• Freight / Load Type: Sub-units for data centers

• Equipment: Standard 53-foot dry van trailer

• Handling: No loading or unloading; drivers are responsible for securing the cargo

• Service Area: Sandston/Richmond area

• Travel Distance: Approximately 3 miles between sites

• Automatic-Only Drivers: Accepted

CDL-A Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: Valid CDL-A

• Experience: At least 2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable commercial driving experience

• Experience safely securing cargo

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents within the last 3 years

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL-A Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on local routes

• Transport sub-units between data center sites

• Properly inspect and secure cargo before transport

• Complete approximately seven stops per day

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate effectively with dispatch
