CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $28 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Springfield, MA

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat Schedule, 11 AM – 1 PM Start Time, 9/10-hour day

• Pay: $28 Per Hour + OT after 40 Hours

• Route Type: Local, delivery area is 20 – 110 miles in MA and CT  

• Freight / Load Type: Dock deliveries to back room of retail stores, electric pallet jack unload, delivery to stores in reefer trailers, wrapped palletized freight, delivery coolers/backrooms. 

• Equipment: Reefer trailers, Automatic transmission

• Handling: Electric pallet jack unloading

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A on local routes

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including electric pallet jack unload.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
