CDL A Driver - $31.30 Per Hour

CDL A Driver | $31.30 Per Hour | Boston, MA  

TransForce is seeking an experienced CDL A Driver with good driving history to support local operations based in Boston. 

CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6AM - 7AM start, end time around 3:30. 

• Pay:  $31.30 Per Hour, OT after 40, $1,200 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: local

• Freight / Load Type: moving food products from a warehouse to food banks. 3 - 5 stops per day. 

• Equipment: box truck or tractor trailer

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 5+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate a box truck or tractor trailer on local routes 

• Transport food products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including lift gate deliveries and breaking down pallets

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including breaking down pallets and consolidating them on the truck
