TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Lexena, KS. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon - Fri (with occasional Saturday), 2.30 pm - 11 pm, Home Daily.
- Pay: $30/hr plus overtime after 40 hours
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Hauling food & spices from production facility to local warehouse
- Equipment: 53’ storage trailers w/swing doors & 48’ w/roll doors
- Handling: Light touch, forklift experience required
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience, with the potential to take strong candidates with 6 months of experience.
- Equipment Experience: Forklift experience required, and strong backing skills preferred
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailer and forklift on local routes
- Transport items in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform the required handling tasks, including loading and unloading goods with a forklift
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role.
