About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for dedicated local and regional routes based in Omaha, Nebraska. This home-daily opportunity offers Monday through Friday AM and PM shift options, with routes throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.

Pay & Schedule

• $29 per hour
• Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Home daily
• AM shift begins at 6:00 AM
• PM shift begins at 10:00 PM
• Typically 8 to 9 hours per day
• Temp-to-perm employment opportunity

Job Details

• Route type: Dedicated local and regional routes
• Service area: Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri
• Freight: Furniture, popcorn, and related products
• Equipment: 2019 Freightliner automatic daycab with a 53-foot dry van
• Handling: No-touch freight on primary routes, including drop-and-hook and occasional live-load and live-unload operations
• Typical routes include Omaha to Hamburg, Iowa, and Lincoln, Nebraska, or Omaha to Des Moines, Iowa, round trips, depending on the assigned shift

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on assigned local and regional routes
• Transport and deliver freight according to scheduled routes and delivery requirements
• Complete drop-and-hook operations and occasional live-load and live-unload assignments
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
• Follow all applicable safety, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
• Represent TransForce professionally while providing dependable service

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
