CDL A Driver - Heavy Touch - $30 Per Hour - East Syracuse, New York

This local CDL A driver role is based in East Syracuse, New York, pays $30 per hour, and is customer-facing. You will make about four stops per day across Central New York while hauling empty bottles and cans from retail and small local stores. This TransForce driving opportunity offers a local route with regular customer interaction and support from a dedicated TransForce team.

This role requires clear communication and strong basic customer service skills. Drivers must be able to lift and carry bags weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay & Schedule

• $30 per hour
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 7:00 AM start time
• Optional Saturday runs may be available during peak season. Saturdays after Memorial Day and July 4 are required.
• Local work in East Syracuse, New York and Central New York

What You'll Be Doing

• Haul empty bottles and cans in 48-foot rail gate dry vans.
• Pick up from retail stores and small local businesses across Central New York.
• Identify and tag bags of bottles and cans.
• Carry bags weighing up to 50 pounds and load them onto the trailer. Warehouse staff will unload the trailer.
• Work directly with customers during each stop.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
