About the Position

Our client is seeking local CDL A Drivers for a light-touch delivery position based in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Drivers will transport palletized, shrink-wrapped freight throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Upstate New York while operating an automatic-transmission truck.

Pay & Schedule Details

• $34 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,800
• 40 hours per week
• Local delivery routes based in Chicopee, Massachusetts
• Report times between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
• Typical end times between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Work is available seven days a week if desired
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Deliver palletized, shrink-wrapped freight throughout the assigned service area.
• Perform light-touch freight handling as needed.
• Report to assignments in Chicopee, Massachusetts, according to the scheduled start time.
• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
