TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver for a local mail delivery position supporting routes in Akron, Ohio. This role involves transporting rolling carts of mail with light-touch freight handling and driver unload responsibilities.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $32.56 per hour
• Pay structure includes base hourly rates and a $5.36 per-hour health and welfare benefit.
• Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
• Sunday start time: 5:00 a.m., with four-hour days
• Saturday start time: 2:00 p.m., with five-hour days
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Temp to perm

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A commercial vehicle on local mail routes.
• Transport rolling carts of mail between post offices.
• Complete driver unload duties at designated locations.

• Provide professional and reliable service at each stop.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
