About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for a local, no-touch driving position in the Akron, Ohio area. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers consistent Monday through Friday work, competitive hourly pay, and overtime eligibility.

Pay & Schedule

• $25 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,000
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 6:00 a.m. start time
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Anticipated start date: September 1, 2026
• Temp-to-perm employment opportunity

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight: No-touch freight
• Equipment: CDL A vehicle
• Handling: No-touch; driver is not responsible for loading or unloading freight

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A vehicle safely on local routes in the Akron, Ohio area.
• Transport no-touch freight according to schedule.
• Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach while representing our client.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
