Pay: $28.00/hour (Overtime after 40 hours)

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused CDL-A driver for a consistent nightly shuttle route. This is a hands-on (heavy touch) position requiring loading and unloading, along with flexibility to support warehouse needs and meet customer demands. We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused CDL-A driver for a consistent nightly shuttle route. This is a hands-on (heavy touch) position requiring loading and unloading, along with flexibility to support warehouse needs and meet customer demands. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-driven, and looking for a long-term opportunity.
- Days: Monday – Thursday (occasional Friday as needed)
- Start Time: 3:30 PM (route typically departs around 6:30 PM; may vary)
- Hours: 10 Hours Daily - 40 hours per week (Possible OT after 40)
- 2018 Freightliner, automatic transmission
- 53’ trailer with swing door (primary)
- 48’ trailer with liftgate and roll-up door (as needed)
- ELD system: Omnitracs
- Forward- and inward-facing Samsara cameras
- Perform light warehouse duties at the start of shift (equipment staging, organizing, sweeping, operating floor scrubber, or assisting with local deliveries as needed)
- Load trailer in Wichita and depart nightly for delivery
- Complete nightly shuttle route from Wichita, KS to Edwardsville, KS (Kansas City area)
- Unload freight using a sit-down forklift upon arrival at cross dock
- Reload trailer in Edwardsville and return to Wichita with a loaded trailer
- Transport paper products, packaging materials, and facility supplies
- Adapt to schedule, route, and delivery changes as needed
- Follow all company and Veritiv national safety and compliance requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience with strong emphasis on safety and dependability
- Forklift experience preferred (sit-down), but willing to train
- Must be willing to load and unload trailers (heavy touch freight)
- Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and customer needs
- No Hazmat endorsement required
- Steel-toe boots required
- High-visibility vest, gloves, and safety glasses required
- PPE and high-visibility gear provided if needed
- Dedicated nightly shuttle position
- Drivers leave nightly with a loaded trailer and return with a loaded trailer
- Must follow all Veritiv national account requirements (on file)
