About the Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated CDL A Driver for a local position with our client. This role requires a commitment to working nights, afternoons, and a weekend day. Drivers will be responsible for rolling mail carts into and out of postal facilities.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay Rate: $28.27 per hour
• Health and Welfare: $6.16 per hour (capped at 40 hours)
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours
• Average Weekly Hours: 49.8
• Schedule: Working 5–6 days per week, 8–10 hours per day
• Start Times: Vary

Job Details

• Route Type: Local
• Freight: Mail carts
• Equipment: 48’-53’ trailers with liftgate, both manual and automatic transmissions
• Handling: Rolling mail carts into and out of postal facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Transport mail carts to and from postal facilities
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and facility personnel

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
