About the Position

TransForce is seeking CDL A drivers to support local combo lane operations based in Palmdale, California. This long-term flex opportunity offers consistent work, competitive hourly pay, and a structured split sleeper berth schedule. Drivers will remain on-site in the sleeper berth during scheduled work cycles.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Split sleeper berth schedule with 4 days on one week and 3 days on the next week
• Estimated On-Duty Time: Up to 14 hours per day
• Work Cycle: 3–4 days on-site, with drivers remaining in the sleeper berth during shift cycles
• Start Date: May 11, 2026

• Freight: Combo lane operations
• Equipment: Sleeper cab tractor with well-maintained, late-model equipment
• Handling: No-touch freight
• Operating Structure: Split sleeper berth operation

Route Schedule

Drivers will complete two local loads per shift with a scheduled off-duty period between loads:

• First Load: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., approximately 6 hours
• Off-Duty Period: 2 hours in the sleeper berth
• Second Load: 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., approximately 6 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor in local combo lane operations
• Complete two scheduled loads per shift
• Follow split sleeper berth and hours-of-service regulations
• Remain on-site in the sleeper berth during designated work cycles
• Operate and care for assigned late-model equipment
• Maintain safe, professional, and reliable performance on every route

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Ability to safely operate within hours-of-service and split sleeper berth regulations
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
