CDL A Flatbed Driver - $35 Per Hour

CDL A Flatbed Driver | $35/hour | Ambridge, PA  

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support local  operations based in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Flatbed Driver Details 

• Schedule: M-F; 2AM to 5AM start time

• Pay:  $35/hour + OT

• Route Type: local

• Freight / Load Type: hauling metal

• Equipment: automatic day cabs, flatbed trailers

• Handling: strapping, tarping 

CDL A Flatbed Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Equipment Experience: flatbed

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Flatbed Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate 40' - 53' flatbed trailers with automatic day cabs on local routes 

• Transport metal in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including strapping, occasionally tarping

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping and occasionally tarping
