FLATBED EXP REQUIRED, Temp-to-Hire
CDL-A Flatbed Driver | $27 | Odenton/Crofton, MD

TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Flatbed Driver to support Local operations based in Odenton/Crofton, MD.

Temp-to-Hire: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, potential for permanent placement, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL-A Flatbed Driver Details:

Schedule: Mon-Fri / 1st Shift / home daily
Pay: $27-$28 Per hour
Route Type: Local
Freight / Load Type: Concrete materials, building materials / flatbed strapping required
Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Flatbed, Automatic
Handling: Strapping

CDL-A Flatbed Driver Minimum Requirements:

License: CDL-A
Experience: 2+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience & previous flatbed experience required.
Endorsements: None
Equipment Experience: Flatbed
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL-A Flatbed Driver Responsibilities:

Safely operate CDL-A Flatbed on local routes
Transport concrete materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Perform required handling tasks including strapping & unstrapping
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping
