About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Flatbed Driver for local delivery routes in the Atlanta area. This role involves transporting fertilizer to golf courses, baseball fields, and football fields. Drivers will operate a Moffett to unload freight and will return home daily with no layovers.

Pay & Schedule

• $28 per hour
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Departure time at 7:00 a.m.
• 8- to 10-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Local routes based in Atlanta, Georgia
• Home daily with no layovers
• Temp-to-perm employment opportunity

• Handling: Trucks are preloaded; drivers unload using a Moffett

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A flatbed truck on local routes throughout the Atlanta area.
• Complete multiple deliveries per route while maintaining safe and timely service.
• Unload fertilizer using a Moffett.
• Maintain electronic logs and complete required vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and operations personnel.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures while transporting and delivering freight.
• Safely load, unload, and handle freight throughout the delivery process.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• X endorsement preferred; candidates with a pending endorsement may be considered.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and electric pallet jack.
• Comfort using mobile applications and electronic logging systems.
