This local CDL A Driver role in Alsip, Illinois pays $350 per day, with estimated weekly gross pay of $1,750. You will haul intermodal containers with consistent weekday work and daily home time. This role requires at least 2 years of CDL driving experience including 6 months of intermodal driving experience and a valid, current CDL A.

Pay & Schedule

• $350 per day
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,750
• Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
• Start times between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., until finished
• $30 detention pay after 2 hours at the rail
• Local work in Alsip, Illinois

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a CDL A vehicle while delivering and picking up intermodal containers.
• Handle drop and hook work and maintain communication with dispatch and customers.
• Transport containers safely, on time, and without preventable incidents.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• At least 6 months of intermodal driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 23 years old
• High school diploma or GED
