CDL A Linehaul Driver | No-Touch Freight | $29.00 per Hour

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable CDL A Linehaul Driver for a dedicated, local route transporting rail containers between St. Louis and Beardstown, Illinois. This is a no-touch position focused on safe, timely, and professional transportation service.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $29.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Daily driving time: 10–11 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle.
• Perform drop-and-hook operations and secure rail containers for transport.
• Transport freight safely, on time, and without preventable incidents.
• Maintain open and effective communication with dispatch.
• Provide positive, safe, and professional customer experiences.
• Build and maintain strong communication and rapport with customers.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid, current CDL A.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Experience with intermodal containers.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
