About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver for a local shuttle route between Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina. This full-time opportunity offers $26 per hour, overtime after 40 hours, and the potential for a temp-to-perm position.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $26 per hour
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Some Saturdays may be required due to holidays or emergencies.
• Employment type: Temp to perm

• Freight: Light-touch freight

• Handling: Trailer swaps, load securement, and light-touch freight handling

Key Responsibilities

• Drive from Savannah to Charleston and return to swap trailers.
• Operate a manual transmission truck safely and efficiently.
• Secure loads properly before and during transport.
• Handle light-touch freight as required.
• Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach while representing our client.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission truck.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
