About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL A OTR Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Colonial Heights, Virginia. This position offers no-touch freight, reliable weekly miles, and dedicated support from TransForce.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $0.65 per mile
• Estimated weekly gross pay: $1,500
• Average miles: 2,150 per week
• Hours: 40 per week
• Employment type: Temp to Perm
• Start date: July 27, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Over-the-road
• Freight: No-touch refrigerated freight
• Equipment: Reefer trailer and sleeper cab
• Typical routes include Louisville, Kentucky; Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio; Harmony, Pennsylvania; and possible routes in southern North Carolina
• Approximately 3–4 layovers per week

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on assigned OTR routes
• Transport refrigerated freight while following all applicable safety and transportation regulations
• Complete assigned routes and deliveries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively regarding shipment and route updates

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
