Job Details

This CDL A driver position is based in Rosenberg, Texas and pays $0.80 per mile. You will run regional routes throughout Texas and Louisiana with your 34-hour reset completed at home. This TransForce driving opportunity offers consistent support while you handle dedicated regional freight for our client.

This is a heavy-touch position that requires manually unloading boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes are required.

Pay & Schedule

• $.80 cents per mile
• Estimated weekly gross of $1700
• Regional routes operate 7 days per week, with drivers working approximately 5.5 days per week
• Typical start time is 5:00 AM
• Drivers receive their schedules approximately 3 days in advance and must be flexible
• 34-hour reset completed at home

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive an automatic 53-foot dry van on regional routes through Texas and Louisiana.
• Deliver general commodity freight to stores in Baton Rouge, Bossier City, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, the Valley, and Austin.
• Pull approximately 3 trailers per week, with 2 to 6 stops per trailer.
• Manually unload floor-to-ceiling boxes and place them onto a conveyor system.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
