About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Port Driver to support dedicated local delivery operations based in Newark, New Jersey. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $28 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Estimated weekly earnings: $1,500
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. start
• Hours per week: 40
• Home daily
• Total sign-on bonus: $1,500, paid at 30, 60, and 90 days

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery, including deliveries in New York
• Freight: Port and local delivery freight
• Handling: No-touch freight

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment on assigned local routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• 3 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid TWIC card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
