CDL A Regional Driver – Avg. $1,900+/Week

Location: Byhalia, Mississippi

About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL A drivers for a high-touch regional driving opportunity based in Byhalia, Mississippi. Drivers will deliver passenger and commercial tires throughout the region while enjoying consistent miles, regular home time, and sleeper tractor accommodations for overnight layovers.

This is a physically demanding position that requires driver-assisted unloading and manual tire handling.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $0.55 per mile plus component pay
• Estimated weekly gross earnings: $1,800 to $2,000
• Average estimated weekly earnings: $1,900
• Dispatch days: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Typically home Friday afternoon or evening through Saturday
• Three to four overnight layovers per week
• Sleeper tractor provided for overnight layovers; no hotel stays
• Report times may begin as early as 6:30 a.m. and vary based on routing
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Employment type: Temp-to-perm
• Anticipated start date: October 12, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver passenger and commercial tires to retail locations throughout the region.
• Move tires to the rear of the trailer and safely lower them to the ground during driver-assisted unloading.
• Count and verify deliveries with customers before departing.
• Communicate delays promptly.
• Report for dispatch on time and follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Perform all duties safely and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A.
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work involving manual tire handling.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
