About the Position

We are seeking several CDL Class A drivers for a regional tire-delivery operation in Victorville, California. This heavy-touch position involves delivering passenger and commercial tires to retail locations. 
 

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $32.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Saturday
• Start times: Vary by assigned route
• Layovers: 2–4 layovers per week

Job Details

• Route type: Regional
• Route Details: Regional routes originating in Victorville, covering OR, WA, ID, AZ, NV, UT, WY, and MT.
• Stops: Approximately 10–20 stops per day, depending on the route and unloading requirements.
• Freight: Passenger and commercial tires
• Equipment: Class A commercial vehicle
• Handling: Heavy-touch freight requiring manual tire handling and unloading

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned regional routes.
• Deliver tires safely, accurately, and on time to retail locations.
• Move tires to the end of the trailer and safely lower them to the ground.
• Perform repetitive, labor-intensive unloading and tire-handling duties.
• Count and verify deliveries with customers before leaving each stop.
• Complete required delivery paperwork and customer verification.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, delivery issues, or route changes.
• Maintain a professional, safety-focused presence with customers and at delivery locations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL License.
• 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive, labor-intensive unloading and tire-handling duties.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
