TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Mooresville, NC. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Shuttle Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-hour shift, 3 pm start, 40 hours per week or 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
- Pay: $23.00 Hourly + OT after 40
- Route Type: Local shuttle runs between warehouses
- Freight / Load Type: Beverages/Energy Drinks
- Equipment: 53ft Tractor-Trailer, Automatic transmission
- Handling: No-touch
CDL A Shuttle Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Shuttle Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local shuttle routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
