About the Position

Our client is seeking a professional Class A CDL Shuttle Driver for a local, full-time position delivering automotive parts to dealerships in the Laredo area. This role offers daily home time with no layovers and the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly pay: $20 per hour for local deliveries
• Average weekly earnings: $1,000–$1,200, depending on delivery type
• Out-of-town delivery pay: $0.33 per mile for trips from Laredo to San Antonio or Eagle Pass, Texas
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: Flexible between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Daily home time with no layovers

Job Details

• Route type: Local shuttle and route deliveries, with occasional out-of-town deliveries
• Freight: Automotive parts
• Equipment: 48- to 58-foot day cab truck
• Handling: Heavy touch freight, including rolling wheeled crates of automotive parts
• Average of 5–10 dealership stops per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes
• Deliver automotive parts to dealerships accurately and on schedule
• Complete approximately 5–10 stops per shift
• Handle touch freight and roll wheeled crates of parts during deliveries
• Perform lift gate operations as required
• Follow all applicable safety, transportation, and customer service standards

Minimum Requirements

• Class A CDL
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Recent route delivery experience, including lift gate operations
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
