CDL A TANKER Driver - Up to $1375 Per Week

CDL A Driver | Up to $1,375 Per Week | Kankakee, IL  

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Kankakee, Illinois. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: M-F; 3AM - 6AM start time 

• Pay:  $1,000 - $1,375 Per Week

• Route Type: local

• Freight / Load Type: Non-hazmat waste or IBC totes

• Equipment: Automatic Mack or International trucks, pulling tankers or 53' dry vans

• Handling: Hook and unhook tanker hoses

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+  years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: Tanker

• Equipment Experience: 6 months of Tanker experience

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate newer, automatic Mack and International trucks, pulling tankers or 53' dry vans on local routes 

• Transport Non-hazmat waste and/or IBC totes in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including hooking and unhooking tanker hoses

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including hook and unhooking tanker hoses & those from IBC totes when needed
