CDL A Tanker Driver - $26 per hour

CDL A Driver | Local | Tanker | $26 hourly | Memphis, TN

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Memphis, TN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: Mon-Fri,6a start time, 40-50 hours per week. Occasional Saturday.
• Pay: $26/hr /OT after 40
• Route Type: Local
• Freight / Load Type: Responsible for loading the tankers with liquid sucrose and be able to stage the loaded trailers. Driver will also serve as backfill for any drivers that call out/ sick. Potentially be asked to help with railcar unloading and product transferring as well.
• Equipment: Tanker, Automatic
• Handling: Light Touch, Hook, and pump liquid using hydraulic PTO

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
• Endorsements: Tanker
• Equipment Experience: pumping watery oil from car washes, 10/12 stops daily. driver will hook up house and vacuum out the reservoir. Both drivers will work M-F 6 am start 8/10 hr. occasional sat. manual trucks
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

• Safely operate equipment on local routes 
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
• Perform required handling tasks, including hook and pump using hydraulic PTO
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
• Meet the physical demands of the role
