CDL A Truck Driver - $27 Per Hour

CDL A Driver | $27 Per Hour | Vestal, NY   

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Vestal, NY. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: M-F; 7AM start; 4 stops per day. 10 hour days; 50-60 hours per week during peak season. 

• Pay:  $27 Per Hour

• Route Type: local

• Freight / Load Type: large plastic bags of bottles and cans

• Equipment: 48ft rail gate dry vans

• Handling: Heavy touch - load bags of bottles and cans, up to 50 pounds onto the trailer 

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Equipment Experience: Dry van, manual transmission (automatic restrictions may be able to be accommodated) 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate 48ft rail gate dry vans on local routes 

• Transport recycled bottles and cans in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including loading bags into truck

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50lbs
