About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for a dedicated, full-time opportunity serving customers throughout the Central Illinois region. This local position offers steady weekday hours, home-daily routes, and year-round work for safety-minded professionals who are comfortable handling physically demanding freight.

Pay & Schedule

• $31.00 per hour
• Full-time, dedicated opportunity
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Start time: 9:30 a.m.
• Average workday: 8–10 hours
• 40 hours per week
• Home daily
• Anticipated start date: August 17, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Local routes throughout Central Illinois
• Freight: Heavy-touch freight
• Equipment: Newer International tractors with automatic transmissions and 53-foot trailers equipped with lift gates
• Handling: Load and unload freight using manual pallet jacks
• Stops: Approximately 12–16 stops per day

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle on local routes.
• Transport and deliver freight throughout the Central Illinois region.
• Load and unload heavy-touch freight using manual pallet jacks.
• Complete approximately 12–16 daily stops while maintaining accurate and timely deliveries.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Perform repetitive loading and unloading activities in a physically demanding work environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to perform heavy-touch freight duties and repetitive loading and unloading activities.
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required.
