About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Truck Drivers to support local operations in Chambersburg, PA. This long-term, flexible opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $30 per hour
• Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday
• Start times: Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. or between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start date: April 13, 2026
• Employment type: Long-term flexible assignment

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Loads: 1–2 loads per day
• Freight: Freight of all kinds
• Equipment: Automatic transmission
• Handling: No-touch freight with drop-and-hook operations
• Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
• Perform required loading and handling tasks.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• No endorsements required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
