CDL A Truck Driver – $35 Per Hour

About the Position

TransForce is seeking CDL A Truck Drivers to support local delivery operations based in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. This long-term flexible opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, daily home time, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $35 per hour, plus overtime after 40 hours
• Schedule: Thursday through Monday
• Start time: Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Home time: Home daily
• Employment type: Long-term flexible assignment
• Work setting: On-site

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery throughout western Pennsylvania, western New York, and West Virginia
• Freight: Grocery items
• Equipment: Automatic trucks with reefer trailers
• Handling: Light-touch freight using an electric pallet jack

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reefer trailer on local delivery routes
• Transport grocery items in accordance with DOT and safety standards
• Perform required freight-handling duties using an electric pallet jack
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
• Meet the physical demands of the position

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
