Location: Fairfield, Ohio

About the Position

Our client is seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver for local delivery operations based in Fairfield, Ohio. This role involves delivering paper products to Walmart and other stores throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour
• Average Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,800
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start Time: Between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours
• Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
• Expected Start Date: August 31, 2026

Job Details

• Route Type: Local delivery
• Freight: Paper products
• Equipment: Automatic transmission vehicles
• Handling: Unloading with a pallet jack and, when needed, a two-wheel dolly
• Overnight Stays: Occasionally required, with a $40 food per diem

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products to stores and other designated locations in a timely manner.
• Unload freight safely using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly.
• Maintain accurate logs and records, including paper logs when electronic logging device issues occur.
• Follow all applicable safety regulations and operating procedures.
• Provide professional service at each delivery location.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
