CDL A Yard Driver - $24/HR

CDL A Yard Jockey (Switcher) – Marion, OH

TransForce is hiring CDL A Yard Jockeys to support in Marion, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CDL drivers looking for a home daily position with consistent overnight hours.

Schedule

Two positions available:

• 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay

• $24.00 per hour
• Home Daily
• Consistent overnight schedule

Job Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers throughout the yard.
• Spot trailers into and out of loading dock doors.
• Couple and uncouple tractors and trailers.
• Chock trailers during loading and unloading operations.
• Pull loaded and empty trailers from dock doors.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all Penske Logistics, DOT, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A License
• 12 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one)
• No more than two moving violations or preventable accidents within the past three years
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to communicate in English in accordance with DOT regulations
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and licensed in your state of residence
