CDL A Yard Jockey - Shuttle Driver - $26 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local yard jockey/shuttling operations based in Syracuse, NY. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Mon – Thur 5:30 PM – 3 AM and Friday 5:30 PM – 4 AM or 
  Mon – Fri/Tue - Sat Alternative Schedule 10:30 AM – 8 PM  

• Pay:  $26 Per Hour + OT after 40 Hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,100 - $1,200

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Shuttling back forth from Syracuse, NY, also yard moves

• Handling: No touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A  

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards  

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
