About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced CDL A Yard Jockeys for a local, on-site position in Newton, North Carolina. This long-term flexible opportunity offers a stable first-shift schedule, competitive hourly pay, and overtime availability.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $24 per hour
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: First shift, with a start time between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
• Employment Type: Long-term flexible
• Openings: 2

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A vehicle within the client’s yard and local operating area.
• Safely position and maneuver trailers as needed.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Complete assigned yard duties in a timely and professional manner.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid CDL A license
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
