About the Position

We are seeking CDL A Yard Jockeys for a long-term, on-site opportunity in Wilton, New York. This local role involves moving trailers within the yard using a yard horse. The position is no-touch, requires no road driving, and offers consistent work and support.

Pay & Schedule

• $28 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,200
• Overtime after 40 hours
• 40 hours per week
• Tuesday through Friday
• Available schedules: 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Local, on-site work
• Long-term flex employment opportunity

Job Details

• Route type: Local yard operations
• Freight: Trailers moved within the yard

• Drivers remain on-site and do not leave the yard

Key Responsibilities

• Move yard trailers safely and efficiently using a yard horse
• Complete approximately 60 trailer moves per shift
• Perform on-site yard operations without road driving
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and operating guidelines

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
