CDL A Yard Jockey - $28 Per Hour + $2,000 Sign-on Bonus

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Avon, NY. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 7 AM - 3 PM

• Pay:  $28 Per hour, + $2,000 Sign-on Bonus $1,200 - $1,300  Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Drop & Hook

• Handling: No touch

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role
