CDL A Yard Jockey $28/hr - $2k Sign-on Bonus | Scotia, NY

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Scotia, NY. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Yard Jockey Details: 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11 pm, home daily
• Pay:  $28/hr
• Route Type: Yard Jockey
• Freight / Load Type: Recycling/bags of empty bottles and cans
• Equipment: Moving 53ft dry vans with a yard horse
• Handling: No-touch

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
• Equipment Experience: Similar experience preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Yard Jockey Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate equipment between facilities
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
• Meet the physical demands of the role
