About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Yard Jockey for local yard moves and trailer shuttles between vendors and distribution centers. This on-site position offers no-touch freight, consistent Monday through Friday work, and support from a dedicated TransForce team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $29 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross: $1,200
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Typical shift: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with hours varying based on operational needs
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Long-term flex
• Start date: September 21, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Move trailers from the yard to the dock door and back.
• Shuttle trailers to and from vendors and distribution centers.
• Perform local yard moves safely and efficiently.
• Handle no-touch freight operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
