About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL A Yard/Shuttle Drivers for a local, on-site assignment in Bolingbrook. This role involves moving trailers between nearby facilities, completing yard moves, and spotting trailers in a no-touch operation. The position offers consistent local work with potential for temp-to-perm employment.

Pay & Schedule

• $34 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,600
• Monday through Friday
• 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• 40 hours per week
• Local, on-site assignment in Bolingbrook, Illinois
• Temp-to-perm employment opportunity
• Anticipated start date: August 17, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Local yard and shuttle operations
• Freight: Parts distribution center and cross-dock trailer movements
• Equipment: CDL A tractor-trailer equipment
• Handling: No-touch freight; move, spot, and stage trailers

Key Responsibilities

• Shuttle trailers between a cross-dock facility and a parts distribution center.
• Move, spot, and stage trailers throughout the yard.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Operate safely in tight yard and dock areas.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard personnel, and warehouse teams.
• Position and secure trailers for loading and unloading.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
