This CDL A yard spotter role is based in Darlington, South Carolina, and pays $21 per hour. You will move trailers and containers around the yard, position trailers at loading and unloading docks, and keep trailer flow organized. This local, home daily TransForce driving opportunity offers a consistent on-site assignment with no-touch work.

• Work hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends

What You'll Be Doing

• Move trailers and containers within the yard and between designated locations.
• Position, dock, secure, and align trailers for loading and unloading operations.
• Operate yard tractors and hostlers safely in varying weather conditions.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of spotter trucks and trailers.
• Verify trailer numbers, seal information, and movement documentation.
• Maintain accurate trailer movement logs and yard inventory records.
• Perform yard checks, monitor trailer locations, and report damage or maintenance concerns.
• Communicate with warehouse personnel, dispatchers, and management about trailer movement requests.
• Help manage yard congestion and support organized trailer flow.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Experience operating automatic transmission equipment
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
