CDL A Yard Switcher - Part Time - $29 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A yard switcher to support local operations based in Duncan, SC. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule:  Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 5am Start time, 10-12 hour shifts. Occasional weekday shifts.
• Pay:  $29 Per Hour
• Route Type: Local Yard switching
• Handling: No touch

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
• Endorsements: None
• Equipment Experience: Recent Yard switching experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 
• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
• Perform required handling tasks 
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
• Meet the physical demands of the role
