CDL B Delivery Driver - Day Shift - $25 Per Hour

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL B Delivery Driver to support local delivery operations in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This long-term flexible position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Overtime: Overtime pay after 40 hours
Estimated weekly pay: $1,400-$1,500
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Hours per week: 40
Weekends: No weekends
Start date: August 24, 2026

Job Details

Route type: Local delivery with home-daily routes
Freight: Food and restaurant supplies
Equipment: Automatic and manual transmission box trucks
Handling: Heavy-touch delivery requiring loading and unloading of restaurant supplies and food items
Warehouse training is provided to familiarize drivers with the products

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate equipment on local routes
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards
Load and unload restaurant supplies and food items
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
Meet the physical demands of the position

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class B commercial driver’s license
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Ability to perform heavy-touch delivery work, including loading and unloading
