About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL B driver for a local touch freight position in Farmingville, New York. This role offers a consistent local opportunity for an experienced professional driver.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $26 per hour OT after 40
• Schedule: Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM Start Time (8-9 hour shifts)
• 40 - 45 hours per week
• Route type: Local
• Freight: Touch freight, delivering pallets of tile with an electric pallet jack
• Equipment: 26’ straight truck w/ an automatic transmission and lift gate
• Handling: Light touch

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle on local routes.
• Transport and deliver freight in accordance with assigned schedules.
• Perform light-touch freight handling as required.
• Conduct required vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and provide professional customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid Class B CDL.
• Consistent work history.
• Previous touch experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
