Job Details

This CDL B Driver position offers local delivery work at $27 per hour. The route involves light-touch deliveries of construction and plumbing materials, with the furthest delivery locations up to one hour away. This TransForce driving opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

Pay & Schedule

• $27 per hour
• Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• 40 hours per week
• One-half hour unpaid lunch
• Local work with deliveries up to one hour from the branch

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive an automatic 28-foot flatbed truck. F250 or box truck assignments may also be available as needed.
• Deliver PVC pipe, black iron pipe, skids of materials, shower enclosures, and other products.
• Assist with loading materials each morning using a sit-down forklift.
• Unload or assist with unloading materials and make sure each delivery is complete and properly secured.
• Pick up customer returns and local pickup orders.
• Complete delivery tickets, obtain customer signatures, and return paperwork to the warehouse.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections using a smartphone or tablet.
• Work overtime as needed and assist in the warehouse when required.

What You Need

• Valid CDL B
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
