CDL B Flex Driver - $26/hr

CDL- B Driver $26 per/hr – Upper Marlboro, MD

TransForce is seeking two CDL-B Drivers to support transportation operations based in Upper Marlboro, MD.

This is primarily a temporary assignment covering two drivers who are on vacation. A temp-to-hire opportunity may be available for interested drivers.

CDL-B Driver Details:

• Reporting Location: Upper Marlboro, MD

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Hours: Approximately 5:30 AM–6:00 PM; some days may begin earlier

• Pay: $26 per hour

• Drivers Needed: 2

• License Classification: CDL-B; CDL-A drivers are also accepted

• Service Area: Maryland and Virginia, based on the jobsite each day

• Freight / Load Type: Dry sand and dry cement

• Equipment: Gunite mixer truck

• Handling: No loading or unloading; driving only

• Automatic-Only Drivers: Accepted

• Temp-to-Hire: Potential opportunity for interested drivers

CDL-B Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: Valid CDL-B or CDL-A

• Recent, relevant, and verifiable commercial driving experience

• Ability to safely operate a loaded truck weighing up to approximately 72,000 pounds

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents within the last three years

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL-B Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a gunite mixer truck throughout Maryland and Virginia

• Transport dry sand and dry cement from Upper Marlboro to assigned jobsites

• Return for and deliver additional loads when required

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate effectively with dispatch

• Follow all company, DOT, and jobsite safety procedures
