CDL B Readymix Driver — $32.00–$40.00 per Hour

About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL B drivers to haul readymix concrete throughout the Syracuse, New York area. This local, home-daily position offers competitive hourly pay, weekly pay, and routes generally remaining within one hour of the plant.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $32.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly pay
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Occasional Saturday work, typically once or twice per year
• Typical start time between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., depending on business demand
• Approximately 8–10 hours per day
• 40 hours per week
• Home daily

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight: Readymix concrete
• Service area: Within approximately one hour of the plant in the Syracuse area
• Equipment: Front-discharge and rear-discharge readymix concrete trucks
• Handling: No-touch freight
• Occasional work may be assigned at other plants within the Syracuse network

Key Responsibilities

• Haul readymix concrete to job sites throughout the local Syracuse area
• Operate front-discharge and rear-discharge concrete trucks safely and efficiently
• Verify that materials are properly mixed and have the correct slump before leaving the plant
• Complete assigned routes while maintaining safe operating practices

Minimum Requirements

• 0+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid CDL B
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Readymix concrete experience preferred; other experienced truck drivers may be considered and trained
• Manual transmission experience preferred
